A straddle carrier straddles the container, lifts it, carries it and stacks it, all with one machine. The UZX-SC comes in three models: the 40 t UZX-SC40, the 60 t UZX-SC60 and the 80 t UZX-SC80, which stacks up to 5 containers high. Each model is available with a diesel or electric drive, and the inner width and lifting height are adapted to your buildings and yard.
The diesel version works outdoors without a charging point and refuels on site, for long shifts. The electric version, with lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries and a permanent magnet synchronous motor, is quiet and produces no exhaust, so it also suits noise-sensitive sites. The structure is verified by ANSYS simulation, with a service life of over 20 years, and the electrical system has IP67 protection.

The machine has a tall frame with wheels on both sides and passes over the container like a gate. The spreader or chain slings lower, grip the container, and hydraulic cylinders lift it between the legs. With the load raised, the machine travels at up to 50 m/min to the set-down point and places the container on the ground, on a truck or on top of another container. The 6 steering modes, including sideways travel and turning on the spot, let it into narrow aisles, and the hydraulic system has oil temperature and level sensors and magnetic filtration, so any problem is flagged early.

The UZX-SC40 is for 40 ft containers of up to 40 t and 3.2 m aisles. The UZX-SC60 carries 60 t, with an inner width of 3.7 m. The UZX-SC80 carries 80 t on 8 wheels and stacks up to 5 containers high. Choose the diesel version for large outdoor yards without a charging point, and the electric version where noise and emissions matter or where work can be planned around charging.
