Single and double girder overhead cranes, 5–500 t

The single girder overhead crane, with an electric hoist, lifts 5–32 t over spans of 7.5–28.5 m and is the usual choice for workshops, warehouses and production halls. The double girder overhead crane lifts 20–500 t over spans of 7.5–31.5 m and up to 30 m high, for steel mills, foundries, machine building plants and precast plants. Both are built to the dimensions of your building, with a hook, C-hook, magnet or grab.

Frequently asked questions about overhead cranes

When do I choose a double girder crane?+
When the load exceeds 32 t, when the span is large or when the crane works intensively, in shifts. Below 32 t and in normal use, the single girder crane is lighter and cheaper, and loads the runway beams less.
Can my building take an overhead crane?+
It depends on the columns and the runway beams. Send us the building plan and the load you need, and a Uzinex engineer checks whether the structure can carry the crane or what must be reinforced.
