The automated vertical panel storage system holds panels on stacked racks and retrieves them on demand, using a column manipulator mounted on a floor rail. It lifts 100 kg, has a vertical stroke of 3300 mm and a radius of 3000 mm, while the rail length is set according to the number of storage locations required.
Unlike a loading robot, which only moves the panel from the stack to the machine, the automated vertical storage system also solves the problem that comes before it: where the panels live and how the right material is found without unstacking everything above it. The system retrieves exactly the panel the order calls for and sends it towards the cutting line.
Advantages of the automated vertical panel storage system
• Storage on height, not on floor area. Stacked racks replace stacks spread across the floor. In a furniture workshop where space is expensive, the automated vertical storage system frees up square metres that turn into workstations.
• The right material, without moving stacks. Each panel type has its own location. The operator no longer unloads three stacks to reach the decor underneath, which is the most common waste of time at the start of a made-to-order furniture job.
• Rail length sized for your hall. The travel path is not fixed. It is set at design stage, based on how many storage locations are needed and the shape of the available space, so the system grows with production.
• The racking is part of the delivery. The price includes the storage structure, not just the manipulator. That is the difference from a plain industrial robot arm, which assumes the panels are already stacked somewhere.
• Drives sized for a long stroke. The vertical J3 axis has a 4.4 kW brake motor with a 142-15 ratio reducer, while the J2 travel axis has a 2.0 kW motor with a 115C-10 ratio. J1 rotation uses a 160E reducer and the gripping head an 80E.

The storage system integrates with an existing CNC nesting cutting line. The cutting machine itself is not included in the delivery. A UZINEX engineer sizes the number of storage locations and the rail path against your floor plan.
Transport, commissioning and operator training included across Romania. 60-month warranty. Eligible for European funding (PNRR, Regional Programme, Just Transition Programme) and for public procurement through SEAP/SICAP.
