Type M Pallet Wrapping Machine with PE Stretch Film — Turntable with M Design
The Type M pallet wrapping machine is the polyethylene (PE) stretch-film wrapping solution specially designed for warehouses and industrial halls where access for a manual pallet truck is a basic condition of the logistics flow. The "M"-shaped turntable allows direct loading and unloading of pallets with a manual pallet truck, without ramps or special foundations.
Unlike standard models that require ground installation work, the Type M pallet wrapping machine is operational immediately after positioning — with no structural changes to the hall and no restrictions related to the floor level or flooring type. This makes it the only viable option for warehouses located on the upper floors of multi-level logistics buildings or for halls with mosaic, tile or other flooring that does not permit milling for the installation of ramps.
Key Advantages
• "M"-type platform design — allows direct access of the manual pallet truck for loading and unloading, without auxiliary ramps
• Quick installation, no foundations — requires no ground work, usable even on the upper floors of the building
• PE stretch film — effective protection against dust, moisture and shifting of goods during transport
• Reduced packaging costs — PE stretch film has a low cost per pallet compared to other securing and protection methods
• Operational flexibility — suitable for warehouses without heavy lifting equipment or with limited ground access
• Reduced transport losses — goods remain secured and protected throughout the logistics chain
Technical Specifications
The Type M pallet wrapping machine is available in manual and semi-automatic versions, with a variable-speed turntable and a film tensioning system with adjustable force. The Type M platform accepts standard EUR pallets (800×1200mm) and industrial pallets, with a typical maximum load of 2000kg.
The number of rotations per cycle is programmable, allowing adaptation to the height and type of goods. The PE stretch film is compatible with standard rolls 500mm wide, in thicknesses of 17–23 microns for light applications and 25–30 microns for heavy goods or those with sharp edges.
The Difference from Standard Pallet Wrapping Machines
Conventional pallet wrapping machines require the installation of access ramps and, in many cases, the construction of special ground foundations — which makes them incompatible with upper floors or with halls where the flooring cannot be modified. The Type M pallet wrapping machine eliminates this constraint by designing the platform as an "M" profile, which allows the manual pallet truck to drive the pallet up and down directly, without additional infrastructure.
It is the right choice for companies that need maximum placement flexibility and want to avoid the costs and times associated with installation work.
Applications — Type M Pallet Wrapping Machine
Logistics and distribution companies operating multi-floor warehouses use the Type M pallet wrapping machine as standard final packaging equipment before shipping, precisely because it can be installed on any floor without requiring building approval or civil works. Consumer goods manufacturers, construction material suppliers and food industry companies that deliver on standard pallets benefit from the reduced packaging cost of PE stretch film compared to shrink films or cardboard facets.
Warehouse operators with seasonal or variable workloads particularly appreciate the fact that the Type M pallet wrapping machine can be moved quickly from one warehouse area to another, adapting the packaging flow to the active shipping points without relocation costs. The Type M pallet wrapping machine is eligible for European-funded projects aimed at logistics modernization and the digitalization of industrial processes — UZINEX is a member of the Enterprise Europe Network and delivers equipment for PNRR and POR projects.
