The LAZIRON XHJG-1250 line performs H-beam laser cutting, I-beam and U-profile cutting in an automated flow, with a 20 kW fibre laser source. For a structural steel company, cutting to length is only the first step: every steel beam also needs bolt holes, corner cut-outs, end cut-outs, weld bevels and marking. On the XHJG all these operations are done on the same machine, in a single pass, on profiles with a flange of 100–600 mm and a web of 200–1250 mm, with a cutting accuracy of ±0.05 mm.
In the hall, the line replaces a whole chain of machines: the cutting saw, the drilling machine, the marking-out station, end coping and manual bevelling. The beam goes in once and comes out ready for assembly, and the files come straight from the Tekla 3D model. Integrated into the production line, the machine works continuously, with no interruptions between operations. For other machines that process heavy profiles, see the beam cutting and drilling category.
The difference is felt most on large projects, where the same hall has hundreds of beams with different holes and cut-outs. Instead of moving each profile between four or five stations, with marking out and checks at every step, H-beam laser cutting handles them all from a single program.
• All operations in a single pass: cutting to length, bolt holes, corner cut-outs (rat holes), end cut-outs, bevelling and marking. The part no longer moves between stations, so repositioning errors no longer add up.
• One machine instead of several: the saw, the drilling machine and the marking-out station are replaced by a single machine. You take up less floor space, need fewer operators on the flow and have a single maintenance point.
• Files directly from Tekla: the line takes the 3D structural steel models from Tekla. The designer exports, the machine cuts, without manually marking out every hole again.
• ±45° bevelling for welding: edges are prepared directly on the machine, in the same pass as the cutting. Joint gaps come out uniform, and welding starts without prior grinding.
• Cutting accuracy of ±0.05 mm: holes and cut-outs come out to size, so bolted joints fit on site without reaming and without torch adjustments.
• Wide range of profiles: flange of 100–600 mm, web of 200–1250 mm and part height of 150–1250 mm, for H-beams, HEA profiles, I-beams and U profiles commonly used in construction.
• Continuous work, minimal losses: the 20 kW laser source cuts cleanly, on thicknesses of 1–30 mm with piercing, and material is used with minimal losses.
• Robust construction: the structure ensures stability and durability, and the control system allows precise adjustments for different thicknesses and cutting requirements.
In short, H-beam laser cutting on a dedicated line means less handling with the overhead crane, fewer workstations to coordinate and a single source of dimensions for the whole structure. For shops that work today with a saw, chalk marking and magnetic base drilling, the leap shows both in productivity and in the number of complaints from erection, because parts no longer depend on each operator's attention to every dimension.

The typical XHJG customer is the structural steel company that produces industrial halls, logistics warehouses, multi-storey steel-frame buildings or bridge structures. In all these projects, every steel beam has connection holes, cut-outs for joints and ends prepared for welding. With H-beam laser cutting in the same hall, the cycle from the Tekla project to the beam ready for erection gets visibly shorter, and the site schedule no longer depends on a subcontractor.
The line is also used in series production of steel profiles for the automotive industry and for metalworking shops, wherever cutting efficiency, consistency and quality matter. For service providers, steel profile cutting with holes and bevels included means orders worth more than simple cutting to length. Compared with CNC sawing followed by separate drilling, all dimensions come from the same program.
The machine has CE-certified components, in line with the requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. If you want to do the same kind of laser metal cutting on sheet as well, see also the LMJG gantry machine for sheet and profiles, and for three-axis drilling, the 3D CNC H-beam drilling machine.
For steel construction plants around large construction sites, where delivery deadlines are tight and batches vary from one week to the next, in-house H-beam laser cutting eliminates the dead time between order and delivery. The same line can work one day on the main beams of a hall and the next day on the U profiles for purlins and bracing, just by changing the program.
The H-beam laser cutting flow on the XHJG starts in the design office and ends in the assembly area:
1. Export from Tekla: the designer exports the 3D model of the structure, with all the holes, cut-outs and bevels of each beam.
2. Loading the profile: the H or I beam or the U profile is placed on the line, within the maximum load of 5000 kg.
3. Cutting and drilling: the 20 kW fibre laser cuts to length and makes the bolt holes and corner cut-outs, on thicknesses of 1–30 mm.
4. Bevelling and end cut-outs: the head tilts up to ±45° and prepares the weld joints in the same pass.
5. Marking: the part receives its identification mark, useful in assembly and on site.
6. Unloading: the beam comes out ready for assembly, without passing through other machines.
Because all dimensions come from the 3D model, a design change is handled in the office, by re-exporting the file, not by marking out again the beams already brought into the hall. The operator focuses on feeding the line and on visual inspection of the parts, not on repeated measurements with a tape. The training included at commissioning covers exactly this flow, from importing files to unloading the marked beams, so your team can work on its own from the very first orders.

Six technology directions we integrate turnkey: from plug & play IIoT sensors, to cobots, predictive maintenance, optical inspection, MES connectivity and custom industrial software.
See in real time how much each machine produces and how long it sits idle. We fit sensors on any equipment, new or old, and within a few hours you have the OEE dashboard on your phone. No complex wiring, no production downtime. The first concrete step toward digitalization, with ROI visible from the very first month.
Solve your labor shortage without tripling your costs. The cobot works safely alongside your people (palletizing, feeding the CNC, welding) while you recover the investment in 12-18 months. Prices 30-40% below European distributors, with installation and programming included from us.
Stop waiting for things to break. Our algorithms analyze sensor data and tell you exactly which part will fail and when, and we bring it to your production line before the breakdown. Zero unplanned downtime, zero contractual penalties, complete operational peace of mind.
Eliminate defects before they reach the customer. Our cameras inspect every part at speeds no operator can match, detecting sub-millimeter defects. They mount onto your existing line, with no modifications. Ideal if you produce for export and have strict quality clauses.
Connect your machines to your office, regardless of brand or age. Our gateway automatically translates the data from any machine into your ERP's format: no manual entry, no paper forms, no human error. The manager sees production live, the operator receives digital instructions.
Have a process that no off-the-shelf software can solve? We build custom industrial applications: from tailored SCADA panels and HMI interfaces, to production planning systems, lot traceability and automated reporting. The code is yours, it runs on your servers, with no monthly subscriptions or vendor lock-in.
