• Galvanised corrugated sheets have a zinc layer that protects the steel. If the layer is scratched, the zinc corrodes before the steel.
• The aluminium-zinc version protects in two ways, as a barrier and through a coating that corrodes in place of the steel.
• Pre-painted corrugated sheets keep their gloss and colour over time. They can also be ordered with a wood or stone pattern.
• Aluminium corrugated sheets are light and do not rust.
Corrugated roofing sheets are fitted on roofs and walls of halls, warehouses and buildings, indoors and outdoors. They are also used for fences and greenhouses.
The environment decides the coating. Exposed roofs usually get the pre-painted or the aluminium-zinc version, while indoor construction works with galvanised sheets.
