This ice machine produces continuously and keeps the ice in its own bin, ready to use. The series has two families. GDSD makes cubes, from 150 to 2800 kg per day. GDAP makes flake ice, from 200 to 2000 kg per day. The built-in bin holds between 150 and 600 kg of ice, depending on the model.
Models up to 500 kg per day run on 220 V, single-phase. The large ones, from 1000 kg per day up, run on 380 V, three-phase.

Cubes are for drinks: cocktails, soft drinks, water, whisky. They melt slowly and look good in the glass. Flakes are for chilling and display: fish and seafood on the counter, bottles in ice buckets, salads on the buffet, cooling dough in a bakery and mixtures in a charcuterie workshop. Flakes mold around the product and chill it faster.
Work out the ice per day. A bar uses around 150–300 g of ice per drink. A bar serving 300 drinks a night needs 50–100 kg, so a GDSD-350 or GDSD-500 is a good fit. Hotels, large restaurants and clubs need 300–500 kg per day. Fish shops, supermarkets and factories need flakes in quantity, from 500 kg per day up.
