Autonomous mobile robots (AMR) move materials through the plant and the warehouse on their own, with no magnetic tape or markers on the floor. They map the hall with lidar and 3D cameras, plan their route and drive around people and obstacles, and orders can come straight from your MES, ERP or WMS.
An AGV follows a route marked in the hall and stops when the path is blocked; an AMR plans around obstacles and switches to a new flow with points moved on the map. The range covers transport, shelf lifting, under-shelf jacking and towing AMRs for 80–600 kg, plus autonomous pallet trucks for 1.5–2 t and autonomous stackers and counterbalance forklifts.
