The UZX-1005 counter rotating mixer blends viscous products with two agitators that turn in opposite directions in the same vessel. An outer anchor with scrapers cleans the wall, while the faster inner paddles shear the product mass. Total volume ranges from 50 to 8,000 L.
It is also called a contra rotating mixer or an anchor mixer with counter rotation. It handles products as thick as 1,000,000 cP, such as ointments, face creams and hair gels.

The model code gives the total volume. Each model has one motor for the anchor and one for the paddles. The smallest model works from about 20 L, for lab and pilot batches.

For very viscous products, motor power can be increased so the speed stays right. We confirm it in the quote.
The anchor turns one way and scrapes the vessel wall continuously, while the inner paddles turn faster the opposite way. The product is brought from the wall into the path of the paddles and sheared intensively.
In a single shaft unit, a viscous paste rotates like a plug and leaves dead zones. The two opposite directions break this plug, so every litre of product reaches the mixing zone.

Choose the counter rotating unit when the product is too viscous for a standard agitator and must be moved in bulk and sheared at the same time. The scraped anchor also helps cooling, because it keeps the wall clean.
