The UZX-985 vacuum emulsifying mixer blends, homogenizes and emulsifies the product under vacuum in one vessel, so it comes out free of air. It is built for cosmetics, food and pharmaceutical plants that make creams, lotions, shampoo, mayonnaise, sauces or ointments. The working volume ranges from 10 to 2,000 L.
It is also known as a vacuum mixer, vacuum emulsifier or vacuum homogenizer. It replaces three machines, the mixer, the homogenizer and the deaerator, so the product no longer passes through transfer pumps and vessels.

The anchor with PTFE scrapers turns slowly and keeps wiping the vessel wall. Heat then passes evenly through the jacket, with no hot spots. At the bottom of the vessel, the homogenizer turns fast and reduces the droplet size in the emulsion.
The anchor keeps sending the whole batch through the shear zone of the homogenizer. The vacuum removes trapped air and micro bubbles, which can lead to oxidation or microbial growth. The product comes out glossy and stable, with a longer shelf life.
Powders can enter through a hopper, drawn by the vacuum straight into the shear zone. This prevents lumps.
