The UZX-989 industrial magnetic mixer mounts in the tank bottom and blends liquids with no shaft passing through the wall. The motor outside drives the impeller inside the tank through a magnetic coupling, so there is no mechanical seal. Volumes range from 10 to 15,000 L.
It is built for low viscosity liquids in sterile processes, in pharmaceuticals and biotech. The tank stays fully isolated from the outside air.

For tanks and volumes outside the table, the size is set to order. We confirm it in the quote, based on the liquid and the tank.
The magnetic drive head sits outside the tank, under the bottom. Between it and the impeller there is a sealed containment shell, welded directly into the tank bottom, which only the magnetic field passes through.
The impeller inside the tank turns on carbide bearings lubricated by the liquid it works in. Since nothing pierces the wall, there are no gaskets that can fail or harbor bacteria.
The shell is designed to limit the heat produced by eddy currents, so heat sensitive media do not warm up.

The working volume of the tank sets the model. The impeller blade design is chosen by process, for high shear dispersion or for slow, laminar flow.
The magnetic mixer is for thin liquids. For emulsions and creams, the right choice is the high shear mixer UZX-986, top or bottom entry, 10–12,000 L batches. For creams that must be free of air, see the vacuum emulsifying mixer UZX-985 for creams, emulsions and sauces, 10–2,000 L.
