The UZX-1002 mixer granulator blends dry powders quickly and turns them into granules, with a liquid binder added during mixing. It works in a vertical vessel with a central impeller and a fast side chopper. Total volume ranges from 3 to 1,500 L.
It is also called a wet granulator, a high shear granulator or a high speed mixer. The impeller moves the whole batch, while the chopper spreads the binder and breaks up lumps, so blending and granulation happen in the same vessel.

The central impeller creates a vortex that moves the material both radially and axially, so every particle stays in motion. The side chopper spreads the binder through the powder bed and breaks up agglomerates.
The binder is distributed almost at once, without over wetted zones. Fine powder builds up into dense, round granules that flow well and have a higher bulk density.
