The UZX-992 ploughshare mixer blends powders, granules, short fibres, moist solids and even viscous masses with high intensity, in a horizontal cylindrical vessel. Plough shaped elements set at an angle on the shaft throw the whole batch into a three dimensional vortex. Total volume ranges from 5 to 30,000 L.
It is the machine for difficult materials that do not blend well in standard equipment. It reaches blend ratios as fine as 1:1,000,000 and speeds up chemical and physical reactions through intense particle contact.

The shaft turns fast, and the ploughs lift the material off the vessel walls and project it into the open space. A mechanical fluidized bed forms, where particles are always moving.
This prevents layering and leaves no dead zones at the ends of the vessel, as happens in ribbon blenders. The cylindrical vessel handles vacuum and pressure well, so the unit can also dry or deaerate.
