The UZX-1003 lump breaker breaks up lumps and agglomerates in powders and granules and makes them flow freely again. It works with rotating knives that pass between the teeth of a fixed comb. Throughput ranges from 15 to 50 m³/h.
It is also called a delumper or a lump crusher. The knives break the bonds between particles without grinding them, so the primary particle size stays the same and no excess fines appear.

Material enters at the top and falls between the rotating knives and the fixed comb. At high peripheral speed, impact and shear break the lumps, and the material leaves reduced and ready for the next step.
An interchangeable screen above the knives stops oversized lumps and sets the maximum input size. With it you choose between coarse breaking and finer de-agglomeration.

Choose the size by throughput and by lump size. For hard lumps and high throughputs, a twin shaft rotor and a chain drive absorb the shocks better.
