The UZX-UTS-250 is a mobile twin-shaft shredder on a trailer, with the same capacity as the tracked UZX-UMS-250. It is towed between yards and sites, so one shredder serves several work locations.
The 680 × 1550 mm shaft with Hardox 500 / NM500 cutters receives 160,000 N·m through the reducer and turns at 0–40 rpm. It makes 80–130 t/h on construction waste, 15–20 t/h on wood and 15–25 t/h on municipal waste. The engine is a 154 kW Cummins QSB5.9, Euro 3, or a 140 kW Perkins, Euro V.

The shredder has two parallel shafts with cutters that turn slowly towards each other with high torque. Material is gripped between the cutters, torn and sheared rather than struck, so the shredder copes with pieces containing metal while energy use stays low. When a block does not pass, the shafts reverse and take another bite. The shredded material drops onto the belt, and the overhead magnet removes the steel.

It is used for shredding demolition waste and rubble, timber, pallets and green waste, and municipal and bulky waste, by companies working across several recycling yards.
The first criterion is the material. For wood, municipal waste and bulky waste inside a hall, choose the UZX-UFS-750 electric shredder. For construction waste and wood on site, choose the UZX-UMS-250 and UZX-UMS-750 tracked shredders, and for end-of-life vehicles and heavy scrap the UZX-UMS-950. The second criterion is mobility: the UZX-UTS-250 has the same capacity as the UZX-UMS-250, but on a towable trailer, for several yards.
