Company administrator and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of running her own businesses. She keeps in order the part that decides whether a delivery goes well: contracts, documents, deadlines and the client relationship after the signature.
Monica-Dorina Munthiu is the administrator of Uzinex. She handles everything that keeps an investment on track once the deal is agreed: contracts and paperwork, delivery and warranty documentation, deadlines, approvals and the client relationship for the entire duration of the project. She is the person who answers when a client asks where the shipment is, what is still missing from the file or when the invoice is coming.
She did not arrive here from administration, she arrived from entrepreneurship. For more than 25 years she has been building businesses of her own, starting with advertising and event organisation and continuing with online media, including one of the first online newspapers in Bistrița. She has been through every role a small company asks for: selling, organising, invoicing, collections, dealing with the authorities.
She has been through the full non-reimbursable funding procedure herself: with her own business plan she won European funding through competition in the Start-Up Plus programme, for the first virtual reality arcade in Bistrița. That experience matters directly to Uzinex clients buying equipment with European funds: she knows from the inside what the files require, how a purchase is justified and why one missing document can delay a payment.
For the client, the difference shows in small things that add up: correct paperwork the first time, deadlines communicated before they turn into a problem, and someone who takes things all the way without being pushed.
“A machine delivered on time, with all the paperwork in order, never shows up in a brochure. It only shows when it is missing.
