A blast freezer lowers the product temperature very quickly, with cold air at -45 °C circulated strongly. The water in the food freezes into small crystals that do not break the fibers. After thawing, dumplings, buns, cakes, mousses and seafood look and taste as they did before. In a regular freezer, slow freezing forms large crystals, and the product comes out soft and watery.
The SY-SD(F) series is 304 stainless steel, inside and out, with high-density cyclopentane foam insulation, CFC-free. The compressor is Sanyo, the refrigerant R404A. All models run on 220 V.
The series has 6 models, with 3, 5, 8, 10, 12 or 15 tray shelves, from 144 to 345 liters, on a footprint of only 0.8 m².
