If you want to recover copper from used cables and wires, a dry-type electric cable granulator performs the separation in an automatic flow. The cables are crushed, and the gravity and electrostatic separators split the copper granules from the PVC or rubber granules at a purity of about 99%.

The granulator is used by non-ferrous metal recyclers and operators who collect used cables from industry, construction and demolition. The recovered copper can be sold to smelters or sent to refining.
The PVC or rubber granules are, in turn, sellable. This way, one kilogram of used cable generates two revenue streams.
