UZINEX was selected to take part in the final selection stage of the Vanguard programme, out of a limited number of places and from the many solutions entered. At the event, the team presented to the expert jury the most innovative solution in its portfolio: Romania's first mobile photovoltaic plant. UZINEX will take part in several activities starting in September 2026.
About the Vanguard programme
Vanguard is a programme that selects and evaluates solutions with impact potential, through a competitive process with limited places. The solutions entered are reviewed by a group of experts.
The final selection stage took place on 4 June 2026 at the CAMPUS Research Institute in Bucharest, where each invited team presented its solution to the jury in a maximum of five minutes.
The solution presented: the mobile photovoltaic plant
The solution with which UZINEX reached the final stage is Romania's first mobile photovoltaic plant, already delivered to SC ARS INDUSTRIAL SRL of Ploiești. It is a renewable energy installation integrated into an expandable container, which unfolds about 60 metres of solar panels directly on the ground in roughly 30 minutes, with two operators.
The delivered model has 24 kW of solar panels, 52 kWh of battery storage and a 24 kW off-grid inverter, with 380 V and 220 V sockets and car charging. The decisive advantage: it produces autonomous energy with no building permit, no ANRE approval and no grid connection, which makes it eligible under the European funding lines that require 100% electric equipment (Just Transition, PNRR, POIM).

The potential behind the presentation
Beyond the ARS INDUSTRIAL case, the mobile photovoltaic plant answers a broad need: clean energy supply in places with no grid. Applications range from isolated construction sites and mobile events to expeditionary military bases, field hospitals and disaster areas. The range scales from the model delivered to ARS up to 12-metre containers with 160 kW of panels and 620 kWh of storage. This impact potential is exactly what was presented to the jury in the Vanguard final stage.
What comes next
Following its participation in the final stage, UZINEX will be included in several activities, starting in September 2026. This involvement adds to the company's recent path in international programmes dedicated to technological innovation, after admission to the NVIDIA Inception Program and to AWS Startups.
