The UZX-HW-910 is the smallest crawler DTH rig in the range, for rock drilling with 80–105 mm holes. The down-the-hole (DTH) hammer at the end of the rod strikes and rotates the bit directly in the rock, powered by compressed air from a separate compressor. The method is used in hard to very hard rock and through large boulders.
It has a 59 kW Yuchai engine, 980 N·m of torque, Ø60 × 2000 mm rods and a cylinder-and-chain feed. It weighs 3100 kg at 4100 × 2030 × 2020 mm and climbs 30° slopes. It has a two-stage dry dust collector and a rod changer. The UZX-HW-910-1 version, at 3260 kg, has dry dust collection.

The rig works with a down-the-hole (DTH) hammer: the pneumatic hammer goes down the hole with the bit, at the end of the rod string, and strikes the rock directly. No impact energy is lost along the rods, so the drilling speed stays almost the same at depth. The rotary head turns the string, the hydraulic cylinder with chain pushes it into the rock, and compressed air from the separate compressor carries the cuttings to the dust collector.
The two-stage dry dust collector keeps pollution low.

The UZX-HW-910 is the smallest DTH rig in the range, for 80–105 mm holes, at 3100 kg. For 90–152 mm holes choose the UZX-HW-920, and for 110–165 mm the UZX-HW-925 or UZX-HW-930. The rigs with an on-board compressor, UZX-HW-935 to UZX-HW-452H, work without a separate compressor.
