The UZX-1020 semi-automatic liquid painting line is built for heavy parts, up to 6,000 × 1,200 × 1,500 mm, such as machinery components. Each part hangs from a 1 t electric chain hoist, which runs on the overhead rail and is controlled on its own. Loading and unloading no longer depend on the rest of the line.
The process is complete. The part goes through spray pretreatment, drying, the spray booth with robot or operator, then the drying oven and the cooling zone. The line takes 102 × 11 m and has a 202 m conveyor path.

The operator hangs the part on the electric chain hoist, and the hoist lifts it and carries it along the overhead rail to the pretreatment tunnel. There the part is washed by spraying, so the paint will adhere, then it passes through the water drying oven. Because each hoist is controlled independently, parts of different sizes run on the same line and a heavy part does not block the flow.
In the spray booth a painting robot handles the standard parts in large series, and an operator at the touch-up station handles complex parts or small batches. The line is controlled automatically over the whole process, and the operator steps in at the manual stations without stopping the rest. At the end the part passes through the drying oven, heated with natural gas, and through the cooling zone.
