The UZX-1014 floor standing automatic screw driving machine is a complete workstation in a 1,750 mm high cabinet, with castors and levelling feet. At the top it has the large screen, the vision camera and the signal lamp. In the middle are the two platforms and the screwdriving head, and at the bottom a cupboard for the feeder, tools and parts.
The camera finds the position of the part and its holes, and the industrial PC corrects the programmed coordinates before driving. The working area is 180 × 300 × 90 mm on each platform, and a screw is driven in 1.5–1.8 seconds.

The operator stands in front of the cabinet, places the part on the free platform and starts the cycle. The camera photographs the part and the PC calculates its offset and rotation. The head picks the screw by vacuum or magnetically and drives it with the servo motor at the set torque. While one platform is being worked on, the other is loaded.
The cabinet keeps all components in one body, so the machine moves together with its feeder and is commissioned quickly elsewhere in the plant. The signal lamp shows from a distance whether the machine is running, waiting or stopped.
