The UZX-1013 vision automatic screw driving machine has a camera above the screwdriving head and an industrial PC that reads the image. The camera finds the position of the part and its holes on the platform, and the machine corrects the programmed coordinates before driving.
This is how parts that do not always sit identically in the fixture are screwed, or parts for which a precise fixture is not worth it. The upper section is enclosed as a semi-cabinet, with the screen, the camera and the signal lamp built in. The two 180 × 300 × 90 mm platforms sit on the bench.

The operator places the part on the platform and starts the cycle. The camera photographs the part, and the industrial PC compares the image with the model in the program and calculates the offset and rotation of the part. The head receives the corrected coordinates, picks the screw by vacuum or magnetically and drives it with the servo motor.
With two platforms on the Y axis, the operator loads the next part while the first is being screwed. Programs are made on the large screen, with the camera image in view, and up to 100 are kept in memory.
