The UZX-1016 back-to-back automatic screw driving machine has two complete workstations placed back to back on the same base. Each station has its own servo screwdriver and its own platform. Two operators can work on the machine at the same time, one from the front and one from the back.
With six axes, each station has its own X, Y and Z. The machine is 695 mm wide and 1,030 mm deep, so it takes little of the line length. The working area is 180 × 300 × 90 mm on each platform, at 1.5–1.8 seconds per screw.

Each operator clamps the part on their platform and starts the station cycle. The screwdriver picks the screw from the feeder, by vacuum or magnetically, carries it to the programmed hole and drives it with the servo motor at the set torque. The two stations work independently, with different programs if the parts differ.
A single operator can use both stations in turn, as on a dual platform machine, loading one station while the other is screwing. The machine stores 100 programs, written on the touch screen or loaded through USB.
