UZINEX ranks 3rd in the F6S ranking of Climate Tech companies in Romania, in the August 2026 edition. The ranking, published on 5 August 2026 under the title “6 top Climate Tech companies and startups in Romania”, is built by the F6S community, a global platform that tracks more than 2 million companies and startups. The technology that brought us there is a single one: the mobile solar generator, a transportable photovoltaic plant that replaces the diesel generator set wherever the grid does not reach.
What the ranking says exactly
It is worth stating precisely, without press-release rounding. F6S tracks more than 2 million companies and startups worldwide, and Climate Tech is, in the platform's taxonomy, the 48th most popular category. The ranking we appear in covers Climate Tech companies from Romania for August 2026, and our position is third, after Quaesta AI (Cluj-Napoca, computer vision and remote sensing) and Recycllux (Bucharest, marine plastic cleanup based on satellite data).
So it is not a global 3rd place and we will not present it as one. It is a position in a national list, in a category where Romania has, for now, few companies that build hardware. That is exactly why it matters: among the Romanian firms ranked in Climate Tech, we are the only one that delivers a physical industrial machine, built and commissioned at the customer's site, rather than a software layer on top of someone else's infrastructure.
Why an industrial equipment manufacturer ends up in Climate Tech
A mobile solar generator solves a problem that in Romania is solved, by default, with diesel. A construction site with no grid connection, a farm a few kilometres from the nearest transformer station, an intervention on a water and sewer network, an event in a field: in all these situations the standard answer is a diesel generator set, with a tank to refuel every week, with noise and with direct emissions.
The equipment we build produces the same usable energy, at the same 220 V and 380 V sockets, from photovoltaic panels and batteries. It travels on an ordinary truck, deploys in about 30 minutes with two operators and needs no building permit, no grid connection and no ANRE approval. A fixed photovoltaic park needs all three, plus 9 to 18 months of procedures.
This is where the climate tech argument actually lies. It lies not in the panels, which are a mature and widely available technology, but in replacing diesel consumption in places where the fixed alternative is not possible. Every hour of operation of a solar-powered machine in the field is an hour in which a diesel engine does not burn fuel.
The validation comes from delivery, not from the ranking
A position in a ranking is a form of external recognition, but it is not technical proof. The proof is a machine that works at a customer's site, in production, bought through a public procedure.
In 2025 we delivered to SC ARS INDUSTRIAL SRL of Ploiești the first mobile solar generator in Romania, awarded through a public tender based on the customer's specification. The configuration: 24 kW of solar panels, 52 kWh of battery storage, a 24 kW off-grid inverter, in an expandable container of 3 by 2.5 metres that unfolds about 60 metres of panels directly on the ground. It powers a 100% electric horizontal directional drilling rig, bought through the Just Transition Programme, a funding line that requires exclusively electric equipment. A diesel generator set would have cancelled the eligibility of the entire project.

What comes next
The range scales from the model delivered to ARS INDUSTRIAL up to variants with 160 kW of panels and 620 kWh of storage, in a 12-metre container. Each unit is configured to the customer's requirement: the number and type of sockets, the available voltages, the storage capacity, the container size. We do not sell three rigid catalogue models, because there are not three types of construction sites.
The direction we are working on next is dual-use: the same platform serving civil industry today and ready for defence procurement requirements, where energy autonomy in the field, without a fuel supply chain, is an operational requirement and not a cost option.
