A commercial dehydrator dries food with warm air circulated between the trays, at a low and controlled temperature. The water slowly leaves the fruit, vegetables or meat, and the food keeps its color, aroma and most of its nutrients. The RMT series has 16, 20 or 36 trays and a temperature adjustable between 30 and 90 °C.
All models run on 220 V: RMT-16 and RMT-20 with 1500 W, RMT-36 with 2000 W. They sit on a counter or shelf, with no special connections.

Fruit: apples, pears, plums, apricots, bananas, strawberries. Vegetables: tomatoes, peppers, onions, carrots. Mushrooms, aromatic herbs and teas. Jerky and pastrami-style dried meat, dried fish. For confectioneries, dried fruit for decoration and fruit chips.
Herbs and teas are dried at low temperatures, so they keep their aroma. Fruit and vegetables at medium temperatures. Meat at the higher end of the range, for food safety. The 30–90 °C range covers all these products.
