The UZX-HWMG-5.5M is a compact crawler anchor drilling rig with full hydraulic control. It drills 65–220 mm holes down to 30 m, horizontal, inclined or vertical, with the mast raised up to 5.5 m. The upper part rotates 180°, so it drills along a slope without moving for every hole.
It has a 22 kW electric rotary head, a 22 HP engine for travel and a 1.8 m chain feed. Most parts are made of alloy steel to keep it light, and the build comes apart in modules, so it moves and sets up quickly. It works with a DTH hammer, with casing or with a long auger.

The rig sets up at the foot of the slope, raises the mast to the anchor height and aims it at the design angle, from horizontal to vertical. The rotary head drills the hole with a DTH hammer, with casing or with a long auger, and air or mud flushes the cuttings. The anchor is then installed and grouted in the drilled hole, and the rig moves on to the next hole without relocating.

The UZX-HWMG-5.5M is compact and modular, for 65–220 mm holes and 30 m, with the mast up to 5.5 m. The UZX-HWMG-15M is heavy, at 18.5 t, with a 15 m mast, hydraulic outriggers and a cab, for holes up to 300 mm and 40 m on high slopes and in deep excavations.
