A tunnel oven bakes continuously: products enter on a belt at one end and come out baked at the other, without stopping. It is the oven of production lines, where volume is high and constant: pretzels, bread, biscuits, cookies, wafers, savoury pastries. The RMS series is made in electric or gas, in three widths.
Width is expressed in trays: 2, 3 or 4 trays side by side. The internal width is 1400, 2200 or 2600 mm, and the baking chamber is 220 mm high. The tunnel length is set by the desired output, which is why power is given per metre of tunnel.
The electric versions have 13, 18 and 22 kW per metre, at 380 V. The gas versions draw 0.3–0.4 kW per metre from the grid, for the belt, ventilation and controls.

The tunnel length is calculated from the baking time and the output per hour. A product that bakes in 10 minutes, on a belt that advances at a given speed, needs a certain length. You tell us what you produce, how much per hour and how long baking takes, and we propose the width and length. The oven can be linked to the forming line upstream and the cooling line downstream.
